As part of our ongoing effort to ensure security and stability on all levels of our infrastructure, our networking team at the datacnter will be performing a device restart on our core network. We will be updating the IOS image and configuration to provide better stability and IPv6 support as well as potential bug fixes in IOS; the device restart is required for these changes to take affect. Our datacenter network is designed so that this type of maintenance can be performed without network interruption but may result in slightly increased latency while the networks converge. Expected convergence time will be under one second. We will be performing the maintenance on June 25, 2012, between 2am and 4am (EST).
