We have received an update from TATA networks that their IP backbone capacity in Egypt is at risk due to a suspected terrestrial cable cut on the primary path between Alexandria and Suez in Egypt & the traffic is routed to the secondary backup path. The adverse effect of this issue is that cleints on tata network and affiliated networks may face latency to access our servers in the U.S and Europe. The TATA team has updated us that they are working with the teams in Egypt to work out a contingency plan however due to the turmoil in Egypt this may take longer than expected.
